Getting rid of weevils in the garden
An infestation by voracious weevils is easily recognisable by the characteristic ‘bay-shaped feeding damage’. The leaf edges of ornamental shrubs such as rhododendrons, cherry laurels and similar plants show noticeable feeding marks. With nematop® weevil Stop, these nocturnal beetles can be combated effectively and completely biologically. During the day, the weevils crawl under the wooden board, where they come into contact with the nematode gel. The nematodes can penetrate the beetles, which die after a short time.
How to use nematop® weevil stop
Simply take the trap out of the packaging and remove the foil. The trap is then simply placed on the soil around the affected plants. One trap is sufficient for an area of 10m² or 5 running metres of hedge. As nematodes need moisture to survive and move around, the soil under the trap should be moist and the trap should be kept moist throughout the application period. The nematodes are active for 6 weeks after the trap is laid.
Note: If the trap becomes too dry, the nematode gel it contains may shrink by up to 1 cm. Moistening it will restore it to its original state.

Anwendung war sehr einfach
Wir haben 3 Fallen im Garten ausgelegt, weil unsere Ligusterhecke derart zerfressen war. Nach wenigen Tagen haben wir viele tote Käfer unter den Fallen gefunden. Wir hoffe, dass wir nun ruhe haben und die Hecke sich erholen kann.

Sehr gute Wirkung, leider auch gegen Kellerasseln
Wir haben uns 2 Fallen in den Garten gelegt, weil wir große Schäden an unseren Rhododendren hatten. Nach ein paar Tagen haben wir viele tote Käfer unter den Fallen gefunden, aber auch einige Kellerasseln, die uns eigentlich nicht stören. Trotzdem immernoch deutlich besser als Gift zu versprühen!
