Accessibility statement for the e-nema online shop
Requirements
This accessibility statement applies to the website of e-nema Gesellschaft für Biotechnologie und biologischen Pflanzenschutz mbH published at https://shop.e-nema.de/. As a company, we strive to make our websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) and the Accessibility Enhancement Act Ordinance (BFSGV) for the implementation of the European Accessibility Directive (Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services).
Status of compliance with requirements
The accessibility requirements are set out in the Ordinance on the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSGV). The specific accessibility requirements have been implemented in accordance with Section 14 BFSG in conjunction with Section 3 (1) BFSG in the Ordinance on the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSGV).

We sell products and accessories for biological pest control in the home and garden in our online shop. The products are based on beneficial nematodes and can be used against many different harmful insects.
Conformity status
The specific technical measures are based on WCAG 2.0 Level A.
Compliance with the requirements was verified on the basis of a self-assessment (the content was assessed by an internal employee or the content developer) and was carried out on 25 June 2025.
The assessment was carried out in accordance with legal requirements and global standards (EN 301 549, WCAG 2.0 Level A).
The website “e-nema Onlineshop” has the following status in relation to the compliance level represented by WCAG 2.0 Level A: partially compliant: only parts of the content are compliant.
We provide services and information on our website in accordance with Section 2 of the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) and the Ordinance on the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSGV). We strive to make our website accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Accessibility Enhancement Act implementing the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
We have checked our website in accordance with the conformity criteria described below and optimised it for barrier-free use. Our website is largely compliant with the requirements. There is only a small amount of content that makes it difficult for people with disabilities to access information.
The content listed below is not fully accessible:
- Images and graphic functions do not always have clear alternative texts, and in some cases alternative texts are missing
- The labels for not all form elements can be determined programmatically
- In some cases, the focus order is not traceable and the keyboard focus is not clearly visible. - Not all controls have an accessible name that corresponds to the visible name.
- Not all PDF documents are accessible.
We are constantly working to improve our website.
Unfortunately, due to the abundance of material, we have not yet been able to make all content digitally accessible. We are endeavouring to remove all identified barriers for people with disabilities as soon as possible.
There are known incompatibility issues with the following technologies: In some places, the standard contrast values do not yet comply with the required WCAG guidelines.
