Using nematodes in the garden
Nematodes are small threadworms measuring approximately 0.5 millimetres in length. Some nematode species are entomopathogenic, which means that they can parasitise and kill insects. Nematode genera with these properties include Steinernema and Heterohabditis, which we use in our products. Nematodes can be used to combat weevils, fungus gnats, grubs, crane fly larvae and many other pests in a biological and effective manner. However, for optimal results, it is important to choose the right time and the right dosage. AquaNemix helps you to apply the correct amount of nematodes exactly where they are needed.
Using the AquaNemix
The AquaNemix nematode sprayer mixes the nematode solution in the correct proportions for you and ensures optimal and convenient application of the nematodes over large areas. Fill the AquaNemix mixing container with water up to the mark and add the powder containing the nematodes. Now replace the mixing unit and shake the sprayer vigorously to ensure that the nematodes are well distributed. Set the AquaNemix control to ‘Ne’. You can now connect your garden hose to the AquaNemix and begin applying the nematodes to the affected areas.

How does AquaNemix work?
Fill the sprayer's filling container with water and add the nematodes. Screw the mixing unit onto the filling container and shake vigorously to mix the nematodes thoroughly. Now simply connect the sprayer to your garden hose and set the adjustment ring to ‘Ne’. You can now apply the nematodes in the optimum ratio.
Can I also use the AquaNemix to apply liquid fertiliser?
Yes, the AquaNemix is also suitable for applying liquid fertilisers. Please follow the instructions for use for the respective fertiliser.
